Monsoon Session: The Government Might Pass Real Estate Bill During Session

During the monsoon session of parliament, the Union Government expects to pass the Real Estate Bill. The monsoon session will start next week. The Centre will hold a meeting on Thursday to formulate plans for better progress on its key bills in the parliament. As per latest reports, four bills pending in Lok Sabha include the contentious land bill. But reports said that, the government however is not likely to take up the contentious Land Bill as the Joint Committee of Parliament is still scrutinising the bill.

The three other bills pending in the Lower House are the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Bill, 2014, Delhi High Court (Amendment) Bill, 2015 and The Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2014.
