11 new sectors to be floated in Gurgaon by Huda

Proceedings against Shriram Housing Finance to be closed by SEBI
Capital markets regulator Sebi has disposed of actions against Shriram Housing Finance and Investment related to apparent non-compliance with online investor complaint redressal system, SCORES.
The company had not obtained SCORES verification from Sebi within the instructed timeframe. Further, there were investor grievances pending against the firm.

Private developers push Maha govt to open up IT parks for bank, media back offices
A whole new gamut of services will be allowed in an IT park according to the government resolution, issued last month. Services allowed include, back offices of “travel and tourism facilitation, TV entertainment channels and sports and travel channels”.

Demand for housing loan up by 21% in Gujarat
Fresh loans worth Rs 2,811 crore have been granted to 20,091 recipients during October-December 2015 under direct housing finance
In the quarter of October- December, 2015-16, 21% more recipients procured housing loans from banks across the state in comparison to the same period last year.

India logistics gets investment from Bullish private equity firms.
The potential of high growth in the country’s warehousing and logistics sector is enticing not only foreign investors but also private equity organizations. According to real estate consultancy firm JLL India, in 2015 the sector received Rs 1,438 crore in investment through two major deals, covering the Rs 1,350 crore inflow to the sector in 2012 through five deals.

New rules for road construction could solve a big environmental issue in Ahmedabad
The Union Ministry of Environment and Forests, in the new plastic waste management rules, has stated that local bodies shall encourage the use of plastic waste for the construction of roads. The ministry says plastic waste which cannot be further recycled should be used for road construction.
